The Neolith features MartinLogan's largest electrostatic radiating surfaces to produce a detailed, ultrarealistic soundstage that delivers nearly the entire mid-range and high frequency audio spectrums. Smoothly blended low frequencies are provided by the front- and rear-firing woofers. But perhaps most amazingly, the Neolith is completely uninhibited by room limitations – so nearly any place you put these speakers, you’ll experience the awe-inspiring sound of the Neolith.
Smoothly blended low frequencies are provided by a 15" rear-firing ported woofer and a 12" front-firing sealed mid-bass woofer. Combined, they produce the Neolith's deep, extremely accurate, extended bass response.
While MartinLogan didn't invent the electrostatic transducer, they have eliminated the perceived deficiencies of the electrostat, while delivering all the positives that make this technology so amazing, creating a speaker with uncanny audio accuracy.
MartinLogan hasn’t attempted to engineer a loudspeaker of this size and performance level in over 15 years. Three years in the making, the Neolith combines both technology and art to deliver an astonishingly accurate and realistic sound.
Using a Phenolic Resin Polymer substrate, this dense enclosure has superb mechanical strength minimizing cabinet vibrations to provide an ideal baffle for the electrostatic panel and woofers.
